About Duncan Designs

Carla is a former teacher who loves being retired to fully embrace her art. Her business, Duncan Designs, has 18-plus years of working with jewelry customers as everyone needs their own chain maker! Ask those with either large or small wrists.
In retirement, Carla was able to return to painting and is proud to have created her Art on Tall Tubes line. It's fun to watch adults and children approach the tubes having never seen anything like them before. In November of 2020, Carla was excited to became a resident artist at Green Door Gallery in Webster Groves. Her felted and painted tall tubes are featured there.
Carla is currently the gallery director of the Gretchen Brigham Gallery and enjoys meeting and working with talented artists in the midwest. She enjoys the challenge of matching the art shows with the three summer productions of Union Avenue Opera.
